See Reality Before The Market Does
High frequency, low latency weather data feeds.
Sub second latency · 900+ weather stations
What we do
We're building high frequency, low latency weather data feeds and probabilistic forecasting APIs to power automated trading bots on Kalshi and Polymarket weather contracts. Think real time ingestion, ensemble models, and seamless resolution alignment for edge in prediction markets.
Weather's our launchpad, more pipelines are on the way.
Why Usely
- Sub second latency vs 15–60 min on free APIs
- Real time ingestion + ensemble models
- Resolution alignment for prediction market edge
FAQ
How fast is the data compared to what I can get elsewhere?+
Most consumer apps and free APIs update every 15–60 minutes, and even pro weather vendors often have 5–15 minute delays. We subscribe directly to NOAA’s publication pipelines and push updates as soon as they’re available. This is typically within a few seconds for METAR and NWS alerts, and within a couple of minutes for new HRRR runs and radar composites. On prediction markets where weather outcomes settle on official observations, that gap is the difference between reacting with everyone else and reacting first.
What weather data do you actually provide?+
At launch we cover the main NOAA sources people use for trading and research: METAR from 900+ ASOS/AWOS stations (temp, dewpoint, visibility, conditions, etc.), HRRR model output at 3 km resolution (hourly out to 18–48 hours depending on the run), NEXRAD Level-III radar mosaics for the CONUS, GOES-16/17 satellite imagery (visible, IR, water vapor), and NWS watches/warnings/advisories. Everything is normalized to a consistent schema with timestamps and station IDs so you can join across feeds. We’re not a weather app, we don’t interpret or display it, we just get the raw data to you fast.
Is Usely a trading platform? Do you execute trades?+
No. We only provide data. You keep your accounts on Kalshi, Polymarket, or wherever you trade. We don’t hold funds, place orders, or see your positions. You plug our API into your own strategy, scripts, or dashboards and trade (or not) on your own.
How do I access the data?+
Two ways, a REST API for one off or batch requests, and a WebSocket for real time streaming so you get new observations and model runs as they’re published. You sign up, get an API key, and hit the docs. We’ll ship official Python and JavaScript SDKs at launch so you’re not hand rolling HTTP calls. WebSocket clients can subscribe by feed type and optional filters to keep payloads small.
What are the rate limits and pricing?+
Free tier has rate limits and a subset of feeds so you can build and test. Pro tiers unlock full real time streams, higher limits, historical backfill, and no cap on stations or grid cells. Exact numbers and tiers will be published at launch. If you’re on the waitlist, you get early access and locked in launch pricing so it doesn’t go up as we add more feeds.
Who is this for?+
Anyone making decisions on real world data where speed matters. That’s mostly prediction market traders right now, or researchers backtesting models, or teams building internal tools. If you’re tired of being last because your data is 20 minutes old, this is for you.
